Monday 9th May

On this day, the Spanish teachers went to Norton College to meet their students again after the weekend which the students had spent with their families. The students' general opinion was excellent and everybody talked about the things they had done and the places where they had been, most of them to the beach. Two students showed some pictures of their weekend. Here are some of them in Scarbourgh.

Sarah introduced the Headteacher of Norton College to the Spanish teachers, who gave him some presents to remember the first student exchange between Norton College and IES Jabalcuz.
Immediately after, the Spanish students and their teachers left for York by coach.

There, the students were shown the places the teachers had been shown the day before.
It was decided to visit the Misnter but the students did not have to pay for the tickets, they were invited by IES Jabalcuz. To make the visit more interesting, students were given a leaflet with some instructions and clues to follow a Treasure Hunt inside the Cathedral. It was fun!

After the visit, the students went to a park to have lunch and then they went sightseeing in York.

At half past two, they came back to Norton to be there before the lessons finished so that they could go home with their English partners.
In the evening, the Spanish teachers had dinner again in the Italian restaurant.
